A collaborative invitation

Let's do it together:

Firstly, Revolución Des-industrial is focused to open up the references around contemporary poetics of deindustrialization based in different zones in transformation around the world, where collective narratives can reconstruct the dialogue between art practices and social movements in a frame of solidarity. Actually, the perspective of the content is from Latin America and extended to diaspora and other countries, where it is possible to find links related to this issue and the impacts in the sociocultural context.

Secondly, this proposal focuses on the epistemic impacts of different industries applied on the art practices from a critical point of view since the beginning of XX century, such as Cultural Industries, Creative Industries and the contemporary Content Industry. The conditions of making art in an environment of industrial overproduction and global consumption.

Finally, De-industrial Revolution is a provocation to imagine other rhythms and speeds of collaborative creation away from the idea of progress, then to activate collective knowledge in the public sphere. An alternative to dismantle our own practices, to open spaces focused on disarming the past in order to dispute the present.
